Hey friends,
So I've been wanting to do this for a long time...have a few segments where I'll sample a few "healthy snacks" recommend a few, tell ya about them, you go try them and we chat.
So a while back I became obsessed with "Naked Juice- Mighty Mango" you gotta try it!
so a few things to note: a serving size is 8oz, but this container has 2 servings.
So if you drink the whole thing its:
-300 calories (0 from fat)
-36g of carbs x2 since its 2 servings
-30g of sugar x2 (which is a little high, but I think its the natural sugars from the fruits)
-40% Vitamin A :)
So its got its ups and downs! I don't count calories, I watch what I eat...sometimes! But this is a smoothie I will drink any day, its so tasty!

I'm not an expert, nor a dietitian or nutritionist....I am a Certified Health Education Specialist...I'll let you find out what that means ;) But sometimes its cool to hear about snacks and other things from our peers and not crazy commercials we see on TV!

my challenge to you:
Try a snack you would normally not eat for a few days...it doesn't hurt to try!
I hate it when I think I am being healthy and then I realize that I read the nutrition label wrong :(
ReplyDeleteYup that happens! and honestly speaking its expensive to eat "healthy" and you have to be self disciplined...but possible!! with a little at a time :)
